What is the church of Christ?
We are members of a church that belongs to Jesus Christ that was given to Him by the Father
Ephesians 1:20-23
The East Sparta church of Christ is a non-denominational group of believers dedicated to living lives and worship that aligns with God’s Inspired word (2nd Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is our ONLY guide in religious matters (John 12:48). God has given us all things that we need to live a godly life in His scriptures (2nd Peter 1:3) and to be saved for the remission of our sins (Acts 2:38).
We strive to teach the same things Jesus taught and to be unified in His word as he instructed in 1st Corinthians 1:10. There should be no religious division as we are taught in His word that there is One body, One Spirit, One hope, One Lord, One Faith, One baptism (immersion), One God and Father of All (Ephesians 4:4-6).
What must I do to be saved?
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth,
and of those under the earth,
Philippians 2:10
There is no more important question in this life than “What Must I do to be Saved?” The church of Christ holds fast to the plan of salvation that is outlined in God’s word.
